High on the bluffs of the Mississippi River, the Villa Kathrine can be seen. It overlooks the busy Mississippi River in the center part of the Midwest of America, The villa is constructed in a Moorish style and was built in 1900 by an eccentric, wealthy man, George Metz. It is now use as Quincy Illinois Visitor Center as well as a venue for weddings, parties . It is rumored that there are paranormal events which occur within the building. It is located on four acres and is truly a peaceful and lovely place to visit.
